6-Day Signature Wildlife Safari: Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro

Your safari begins with a morning pickup and a drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its massive herds of elephants and ancient baobab trees, you will spend the day exploring the park’s diverse wildlife. In the evening, travel to the Karatu highlands.

After breakfast, travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the Southern Serengeti. This region offers vast horizons and is a key area for wildlife watching during this time of year.

Spend another full day in the Serengeti, tracking the resident big cats and the seasonal movements of the herds. Your private vehicle allows for maximum flexibility to stay out as long as the sightings are active.

Dedicate the day to the Central and Western corridors of the Serengeti. This area is famous for its rocky outcrops (kopjes) where lions often lounge, and the Grumeti River, home to some of Africa’s largest crocodiles.

Depart the Serengeti and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an afternoon game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a natural sanctuary for over 25,000 large mammals, including the rare Black Rhino. Later, return to the Karatu area for your final evening.
