Overview
This 10-day Northern Tanzania safari is designed to follow the path of the Great Migration while exploring the most iconic wildlife destinations of the country. The journey begins in Arusha with a relaxing stay surrounded by nature before visiting Moshi for a cultural experience, including a traditional village visit and the fascinating underground Chagga houses.
From Arusha, a scenic flight takes you directly to the northern Serengeti near the Mara River, where the Great Migration unfolds between July and October. Here, vast herds of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains, often attempting dramatic river crossings while predators wait nearby. Guided game drives with professional safari guides provide close encounters with the wildlife and breathtaking landscapes of the northern Serengeti.
The adventure continues through the central Serengeti, famous for its endless plains and high concentration of predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Game drives here offer exceptional opportunities to witness the rhythm of the African wilderness.
The safari then leads to the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder and UNESCO World Heritage Site that hosts one of the densest wildlife populations in Africa. Descending into the crater provides a chance to see the Big Five in a single day within a spectacular volcanic landscape.
The journey concludes in Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem known for its giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse wildlife. With morning and evening game drives, guests can enjoy the park’s quieter atmosphere and rich biodiversity before returning to Arusha for departure.
